Hello everyone,
The Scala team at Ligthbend and in particular Jason Zaugg has written an article about the performance improvements of the upcoming 2.12.3 release of the Scalac compiler.
In the article, Jason is inviting every Scala developer to gather feedback about 2.12.3 performance in their own projects. Instructions on how to do so are here.
Some of us are have already chimed in and reported some impressive results! I would like to open this thread to give @retronym’s request more visibility.
I encourage you to compile your personal and employer’s projects before the official 2.12.3 release. It can be useful to measure the impact of Jason’s changes and to catch regressions.
Have a great Sunday!
