Scala enthusiast since 2007, and Akka since 2008; I’ve been using both (as well as Scala.js and scads of related stuff) full-time since 2012.

I’m the creator / architect / CEO of Querki, the “small data” platform – basically the application-engine version of a wiki, making it quick and easy to set up little data-centric Spaces in the cloud. Querki is built in end-to-end Scala.
